About Us

Meeting Outside the Box in Irving

With a recent boom in new development - a stunning convention center, massive entertainment and dining complex, and ultra-modern Westin headquarter hotel - Irving, Texas' burgeoning visitors district offers entertainment, walkability and urban integration, all without the big-city hassles.

A Stunning Convention Facility

There’s a lot about the city of Irving that defies convention – including the Irving Convention Center itself. Clients love its proximity to the airport, individual breakout spaces and vertical design. The center is the cornerstone of the new visitor’s district with walkable access to a Westin headquarter hotel and to the Toyota Music Factory with dozens of dining/entertainment options. Perhaps the center’s most surprising differentiator is something you don’t normally associate with convention facilities: upscale, inventive food. The chef-inspired menu goes way beyond the standard fare. With its unique design, convenient location and attention to detail that you would expect in a five-star hotel, the Irving Convention Center has become a coveted meeting place for events.

An Ultra-Modern Headquarter Hotel

The Westin Irving Convention Center Hotel opening marked the completion of Irving’s new visitors district. The 12-story hotel offers 350 rooms and 16,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 10,000-square-foot ballroom, cocktail lounge, and coffee bar. It's  perfectly positioned between the convention center and entertainment complex.

An Entertaining Visitors District

When meetings are over, fun takes center stage.  Next door to the convention center, the brand-new Toyota Music Factory is an amazing entertainment development. The Live Nation Pavilion amphitheater anchors the $173M complex with an entertainment lineup that competes with almost any arena in the world. But the Toyota Music Factory offers more than just music. The 8,000-capacity amphitheater may be the biggest draw, but with the Alamo Drafthouse movie theater and more than 20 bars and restaurants filling up its storefronts, the Toyota Music Factory will keep visitors entertained all night long. It’s perfect for off-site meetings and off-the-clock itineraries.

Superior Sales and Service

Beyond the excitement of a new visitors district and headquarter hotel, outstanding service makes Irving the right place for your next meeting or event. The Visit Irving team assists groups with site selection, event planning and activity coordination. Complimentary services include name badges, registration personnel, visitor bags and brochures, as well as room night incentives for qualifying groups.

An Easy Choice

Access is easy; folks are friendly; accommodations are plentiful; service is top notch. And Texas hospitality simply can’t be beat. Add a new center for food, music and culture, and you’ve got top-notch destination appeal in Irving.
