The ideal location for your Pacific Northwest event, Seattle Southside offers convenient access to Sea-Tac Intl. Airport, a short Link Light Rail ride to downtown Seattle, and more affordable hotel rates to make your event a success. We are centrally located in the Pacific Northwest, nestled between Seattle and Tacoma, with ease of access to iconic Washington state landmarks such as the Space Needle, Pike Place Market and Mount Rainier. The area offers many unique options for meetings of all sizes, including The Museum of Flight, the largest independent, non-profit air and space museum in the world, and over fifty hotels offering rates typically 20%-30% less their downtown Seattle counterparts, as well as complimentary airport shuttles.

In addition to the idyllic setting, the Seattle Southside Regional Tourism Authority provides complimentary services to planners including site sourcing, site visit coordination, itinerary planning, PR and media services, and complimentary area guides, maps and registration bags. We encourage all planners to take advantage of our welcome services: custom welcome letters, welcome bags delivered to your host hotel, and depending on the size of your event, we can station our mobile visitor center at the venue to assist attendees with questions and provide information on the surrounding area.

We’ll work with you to ensure your meeting is a resounding success. We can create customizable flyers digital content, and presentations for your event, and all planners have access to our extensive video and media library. Plus, we can provide attendees with a digital coupon book offering deals and discounts at some of the top restaurants and attractions in the area. The Business Development team at the RTA approaches events with the attendee experience top of mind to ensure events are enjoyable, memorable, and successful for all.
